Martin Hodo. That’s me.
I’m a 30 year old guy living in central Texas with a wife and two kiddos. I work as an engineer by day and masked defender of the written word by night. That last bit is a lie. I may wear a mask, but I’m much more interested in assaulting the written word with a laptop than keeping it safe.
As of now I have two manuscripts completed for my fantasy series, The Desert Wind, which I’m shopping to agents and publishers. Number three is under way, and a couple of fun little side projects help keep me pleasantly distracted when burnout on the daunting task of keeping a series together starts to singe my edges. The Facebook page for Upon Fell Sands, the first Desert Wind novel, can be found here. Links to the first couple of chapters are there for your enjoyment, or just click here. I’d love to know what you think.
I’ll try to keep things here about writing, reading, and maybe some neat advances in science and technology. Let’s avoid things like religion or politics because I like you. Yeah you. You’re pretty cool.
I can be found on Twitter @MartinPHodo.
